Romie "Rome" Rogers, 71, of Collins, passed away on September 7, 2019, at Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky. He was born on April 29, 1948 in Clay County, WV, and has lived in the Collins area since 1973. He worked at Lorain Ford. He enjoyed being outdoors, riding his trike, camping, playing cornhole, and golf. He especially loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, and family.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Beulah "Amy" (Withrow) Rogers, his children, Karl (Lori) Rogers, of Norwalk, Keith Rogers, of Norwalk, Connie (Rick) Lewis, of Shelby, Kevin Rogers, of Collins, a brother Harley (Virginia) Rogers, of Newton, WV, nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Patrick and Tilda (Walls) Rogers, and 15 siblings.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 3:00 pm until the time of services at 6:00 at the Morman Funeral Home, 16 Cooper Street, Wakeman. Family members Rick Lewis. and Dean Rogers will be officiating.
