Elizabeth Greene

Elizabeth Sue "Betty" Greene, 82, of Wakeman, OH passed away February 19, 2021 at Kingston of Vermilion. She was born August 10, 1938 in Holden, WV and moved to Ohio in 1968 after marrying her husband, Thomas. She was a homemaker for most of her life, taking care of her three children. She loved working crossword puzzles and watching game shows. She was known to be a really nice, sweet lady.

Betty is survived by her husband, Thomas Greene; son, Dana Greene, of Wakeman; daughter, Candy (Dan) Butler, of Elyria; son, Chris (Mary) Weaver, of Hudson, grandchildren, Benjamin (Kelly), Andrew (Nicole Leonetti), Elaine, and Shawn; siblings, Lloyd (Ellen) Weaver, of Jacksonville, NC, Ray (Ramona) Weaver, of Jacksonville, FL, and Brenda Lawson, of Columbus, OH; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Opal (Mullins) Weaver; siblings, Richard Weaver, Ronnie Weaver, Joyce Hopeck, Nancy Lamp, and Wendell Weaver; and brothers-in-law, Jim Lawson, Steve Lamp and Bob Hopeck.

Friends may call from 11:00 am to the time of services at 12 noon on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at the Morman Funeral Home, 16 Cooper Street, Wakeman. Burial will follow at Brookdale Cemetery in Elyria.
