JAMES DAVID JOHNSON

Sept, 10, 1944 - Oct. 7, 2019

James David Johnson, "Jim"; "Little Dago"; "The Lawnmowerman";
passed away, Monday, October 7th, 2019 at his home.

Born on September 10th, 1944, at his Paternal Grandparents' home
in Parma, Ohio, he was the son of John William Johnson, Sr., and
Mary Lucy (nee Genoso) Johnson. He grew up in Avon, Ohio and
attended Avon Schools.

He formerly worked at Fruehauf Trailer; U.S. Steel; and Ford Motor
Company, before an injury ended his factory work. He enjoyed
going to flea markets and auctions, and was never able to pass
up a good deal. He especially enjoyed working on small engines
and lawn and garden equipment, but he was happiest surrounded
by children. From toddlers to teenagers, he loved being entertained
by them, and entertaining them with silly hand tricks; goofy sayings;
and wild stories about, "Lizzie". He enjoyed people; just shooting the
breeze; and making them laugh.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia M. (nee Skrovan) "Patti"; "Rabbit";
Johnson; their son, James David (Sara) Johnson, Jr.; their 3 granddaughters,
Kora Starr; Jerica Denise; and Maddison Marie "Maddie" Johnson;
his daughter, Kimberly Ann Johnson Moderelli; his son, Brian David
Johnson; grandson, Timothy David Johnson; and granddaughter,
Megan Nicole Johnson; three sisters, Nancy Allen; Jean Henthorne; and
Carol Nice; nephews and nieces; and three sisters-in-law, Paula Cifranic;
Barb Skrovan; and Linda Skrovan.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, John W. Johnson, Jr.;
and Robert A. Johnson; and an infant grandson, Christopher Kenneth Larsen.

Private graveside services at Hartland Ridge Cemetery.
