Joseph W. Wild III, 60, of Berlin Heights, passed away on April 6, 2018 at Firelands Regional Medical Center. He was born on July 2, 1957, in Flint, MI and has lived in Berlin Heights since 1973. He was a 1975 graduate of Edison High School. He worked as an engineer for Auto-Gate. He was a member of the Mt. Vernon Masonic Lodge #64 in Norwalk. He loved sailing on Lake Erie, playing guitar, and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 45 years Sally (Phillips), his son Joseph W. Wild IV, and Molly Dike of Huron, six grandchildren, Allyson, Samuel, Lilianna, Alyssa "Gator", Catherine, and Caroline, a brother Frederick N. Wild, of Cincinnati, a sister Nancy Jordan, of Austin, TX, brothers and sister-in-laws Mildred, Paula, Michael, Jonathon, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph W. and Alice (Johnson) Wild, and a sister Margaret Ann Smith. Friends may call on Friday from 11:00 am until the time of services at 1:00 at the Morman-Hinman-Tanner Funeral Home, 38 South Street, Berlin Heights. Services will be officiated by the Mt. Vernon Masonic Lodge and Chaplain Mel Sayler. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mt.
