Judith E. (Clark) Fannin passed away on Monday, January 10, 2022. She was born February 21, 1942, in Toledo. Judy graduated from Firelands High School, where she was a National Merit Scholar and concentrated on secretarial science. She also took courses from Northeastern University in the Boston area. Throughout her life, Judy plied her trade well, and everywhere she lived her skills were in high demand. She retired after 37 years at Oberlin College, where she last worked as Administrative Assistant to the Director of the Conservatory Library. She also served as Corporate Secretary/Treasurer of the family business, Midwest Fine Arts Services and Transportation, Inc.
Judy loved nature and was an avid birdwatcher; she also loved reading, crossword puzzles, and playing guitar and piano. She was all about family, and delighted in each new birth. She and her husband built their passive solar house from a century-old barn frame in Camden.
Judy is survived by her husband of 61 years, Marvin; daughter Audrey (Eric) Muck of Clemmons, NC; grandsons, Christopher and Ian; sister, Kay (Larry) Springer of Henrietta Township; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends.
Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Ruth and Andrew Clark; two sisters, Janet (Alvin) Myers and Karen (Dale) Husted, both of Chattanooga; and brother, Lawrence.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at Mercy Hospital, the Cleveland Clinic and Welcome Nursing Home for their compassionate care.
