Karen Miller

May 28, 1947 — September 11, 2020

Karen Marie Miller, 73, of Wakeman, OH passed away September 11, 2020. She was born May 28, 1947 in Detroit, MI, to Louis and Ann (Mazzola) Revitzer and was an only child. She received her Bachelor's Degree from Bob Jones University and got her Master's Degree from Clemson University. She then returned to her alma mater to work as an English Professor for Bob Jones University. Once she married her husband, Roland Miller, she traveled with him to various Christian schools to join him in teaching junior high and high school students. Karen was a very kind, sweet, and loving person. She was a very hard worker and very smart - she graduated third in her high school class. When she had free time, which was rare, she spent much of her time tutoring her son, Nathan, in his subjects. She loved to take day trips with her family to see museums, tours, and other local sites. She had a passion for learning and loved watching quiz shows on TV, doing puzzle books, and expanding her knowledge. Karen firmly believed that "For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain." (Phil. 1:21)

Karen is survived by her husband of 45 years, Roland Miller, her son, Nathan Miller, an uncle, Mike Mazzola, aunts, Vivian and Mary, and various cousins.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Ann (Mazzola) Revitzer.

Friends may call from 10:00am until time of services at 11:00am on Wednesday, September 16, at Berlin Heights Baptist Church, 85 East Main Street, Berlin Heights. Burial will follow at Clarksfield Methodist Cemetery.
