Mary "Toots" Angelo, 93, of Birmingham, passed away on May 29, 2018 at Elmcroft Nursing Home in Lorain. She was born on February 15, 1925, in Birmingham, and has lived in the area her entire life. She was a 1942 graduate of Birmingham High School. She was an active member of the Birmingham United Methodist Church where she served as Treasurer and helped with LOGOS, Church Suppers, and the Harvest Festival. She also worked with the Erie County Serving Our Seniors. She enjoyed reading and was a devoted Cleveland Sports fan. She is survived by her siblings Dolly (Tom) Cline, of Florence, Stella Mae Soisson, of Norwalk, James (Barbara) Angelo, of Lady Lake, FL, Richard (Betty) Angelo, of Berlin Heights, a sister-in-laws Rita Angelo, of Vermilion, and Mary Ann Angelo, of Herkimer, NY, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Josephine (Gatto) Angelo, siblings Joe Angelo, and Robert "Doby" Angelo, and a brother-in-law Robert Soisson. Friends may call on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of services at 11:00 am at the Morman Funeral Home, 16 Cooper Street, Wakeman. Pastor Dick Kretchmar will be officiaiting.
