Mercy Carder

CLARKSFIELD – Mercy Carder, 85, of Clarksfield, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 14, 2020. She was born on September 17, 1934 in Pikeville, Kentucky where she grew up. She graduated from Grapevine High School in Fishtrap, Kentucky.

Mercy began her over 50-year relationship of love and blended family with Edgar L. Carder in 1969. They started their family in the Sheffield Lake community before moving to their forever home in Clarksfield, Ohio. She and Ed spent the last 11 years traveling back and forth between their homes in Clarksfield and their home in Conway, South Carolina. Her love for the ocean, searching for a good bargain, jewelry, antiques, time spent with Ed, and family gave her the drive-in life.
