Morris “Jeff” Wolfe, 60, of Collins, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning. He was born September 13, 1959, in Norwalk, to the late James Morris Wolfe and Jean Marie (Burzloff) Wolfe.
He was a 1978 graduate of Western Reserve High School and EHOVE Career Center. After high school, Jeff went on to become an excellent carpenter, cabinet-maker, and handyman. He enjoyed that and took pride in that throughout his life. He loved to spend time with his family, as well. He worked at Firelands Kitchens for many years, then went on to own his company, Maintenance Plus. Jeff’s life was made whole after studying the Bible and dedicating his life to Jehovah. He was baptized into the Jehovah Witness faith on October 13, 2018.
Despite his illness, Jeff kept a positive view of life. He was happy to visit with friends and assist them however he could. He also reaped great joy in serving his Creator as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He devoted much of his time to sharing his beliefs, including his hope for a future without sickness, pain, or death.
He is survived by a son, Jeffrey (Kristy) Wolfe of Lebanon, Ohio, daughter, Erica Wolfe (Grant Sprang) of Norwalk, and son, Jon Konz (Jillian Ballard) of Collins, grandkids, Logan Wolfe, Carson Wolfe, and Vivian Wolfe of Lebanon, Grant Wolfe of Norwalk, and Ian Oakley of Collins, sisters, Laurie (Bob) Busch of Wakeman, Stephanie (Steve) Fulton of Collins, and brother Joel (Angie) Wolfe of Wakeman, companion Cassie, a Shih Tzu who was always by his side, and many, many other wonderful friends from the Kingdom Hall in Birmingham, especially Jim Bartow, a wonderful caregiver and friend.
