Nadine Breisch

March 24, 1918 — June 29, 2015

Nadine E. Breisch, 97, of Birmingham, passed away on June 29, 2015 at the Norwalk Memorial Home. She was born on March 24, 1918 in Elyria, and has lived in the area for her entire life. She was an active member of the Birmingham United Methodist Church, its Choir, Women's Group, taught Sunday School, and was the Church Historian. She also was a member of the Birmingham Community Club where she took part in plays and musicals, Serving Our Seniors, and the 12 O'clock Club. She is survived by her children Roberta (John) Burrington, and Jeanne Breisch, both of Colorado Springs, Wendell (Kim) Breisch, of Berlin Heights, grandchildren Stephen Burrington, Laurel Martin, Heather Martin, Brian Misko, Amanda Misko-Holman, Monica Shivak, and Matthew Breisch, 14 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband John "Paul" Breisch, her parents Reuben and Hattie (Gerber) Wenzel, and two grandchildren Mark and Robert Burrington. Friends may call on Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 at the Morman Funeral Home, 16 Cooper Street, Wakeman. Services will be held on Friday at 11:00 am at the Birmingham United Methodist on South Street. Burial will follow at Birmingham Cemetery.
