Robert "Bob" Wolfkill, 55, of Norwalk, passed away on April 27, 2017 at University of Toledo Medical Center, following a lengthy illness. He was born on July 8, 1961, in Lakewood, and has lived in the Milan area for 19 years. He was a graduate of West Technical High School in Cleveland, and the Cuyahoga County Community College Police Academy, and was the President of the 15th Basic Training School in 1992. He served with the Milan, Wakeman, Kipton, and New London Police Departments for a total of 20 years. Bob's favorite job was working at the Cleveland Air Show for 38 years. He was an avid Steelers fan. Bob was a devoted father and husband who had a great sense of humor and a love of helping others. He is survived by his wife of 28 years Wendi (Wielgosiek), his two sons Shane and Jason, siblings Lloyd Jr. and Walter Wolfkill, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Lloyd and Mary (Harris) Wolfkill Sr. Friends may call on Monday from 10:00 am until the time of services at 11:00 am at the Morman-Hinman-Tanner Funeral Home, 38 South Street, Berlin Heights. Burial will follow at Milan Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
