Shirley Jean Zellner, 82, of Berlin Heights, OH passed away August 5, 2021. She was born October 5, 1938 in Norwalk, OH and graduated from Berlin Heights High School in 1956. She went on to work as a processor for Grill Meats. She was also a waitress at Teaco Inn and at Main Street Cafe. She was an avid Cleveland Indians fan, and she loved to fish, garden, and play bingo and paper crack. Most of all, she loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Shirley was a sweet woman who never had bad words to say about anyone. She was very protective, and her children were her first priority. She had a great sense of humor, and loved her animals and she loved the Bible.
Shirley is survived by children, Rhonda (Steve) Wood, Thomas Zellner, and Rod (Kay) Zellner; 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchilren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Ronald Zellner; parents, Clyde and Cleo (Witter) Plue; brother, Clyde Plue, Jr.; brother, Kenneth Plue; sister, Carole Nottke; brother, Larry Plue; brother, Terry Plue; son, Richard Zellner; and grandson, Cody Zellner.
Friends may call from 5:00PM to 8:00PM on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at Morman-Hinman-Tanner Funeral Home, 38 South Street, Berlin Heights where services will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, August 11. Melvin Sayler will officiate. Burial will follow at Meadow Green Memorial Park on Bogart Road near Huron.
