Terry L. Plue, 75, of Berlin Heights, OH passed away January 18, 2021 at Admiral's Pointe in Huron. He was born April 12, 1945 in Norwalk, OH and has lived in Berlin Heights his entire life. He graduated from Berlin Local School in 1963. Terry served in the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam Conflict. He went on to work in skilled trades as an electrician at the Lorain Ford plant, where he retired after 38 years and was known as "Copper Tube". He was a member of the Berlin Heights American Legion and the Norwalk VFW. Terry was an active member of the Huron Eagles Club. He was a diehard Cleveland Indians, Browns, and Buckeyes fan.
Terry had a passion for wood carving and was a member of the Lorain County Woodcarvers Club. He loved to travel to area shows and county fairs to display his craftsmanship. In his earlier years he loved fishing with his family, especially his numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was never at a loss for a good story or joke. Later in life he fell in love with karaoke where he made lifelong friends.
Terry is survived by his children, Dustin (Nicole) Plue, of Sandusky, Stephanie (Jason) Leibold, of Huron, Tony (Tracy) Plue, of Sandusky; five grandchildren, Hannah Plue, Kendall Zeiher, Leland Plue, Landon Hall, and Hadley Leibold; sister, Shirley Zellner, of Berlin Heights; his previous wife Cynthia Plue; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Cleo (Witter) Plue; siblings, Clyde Plue, Carole Nottke, Ken Plue and Larry Plue; and his beloved grandson, Keegan Plue.
Friends may call on Friday, January 22, 2021 from 10:00 am until time of services at 12:00 noon at the Morman-Hinman-Tanner Funeral Home, 38 South Street, Berlin Heights. Burial will follow at Meadow Green Memorial Park on Bogart Road near Huron.
