Timothy O. McKnight, 91, of Berlin Heights, OH passed away April 2, 2021. He was born May 26, 1929 in Cleveland, OH and graduated from high school in Cleveland. He served four years in the United States Navy right out of high school, and then met and married the love of his life, Lou Verne, in 1971. He worked as a tool & die maker for VanDresser in Norwalk. He was a part of the Berlin Heights American Legion, and the Berlin Heights Historical Society. He was a member of the Birmingham Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. He enjoyed travel, and spent a lot of time in Amish Country. He loved to read and would read anything he could get his hands on. He loved looking at maps, and he enjoyed talking to children about the history of Berlin Heights at the Historical Society. He loved to take his grand-dog, Maggie, out for walks.
Timothy had a heart of gold. He loved his family, and above all, his wife, Lou Verne. He doted on her and didn't leave her side until she passed in 2002. He was fun and was really good with his grandkids, playing games and spending time with them.
Timothy is survived by his children, James (Myrna) Thompson, Adele Stanbrook, and Michael McKnight; grandchildren, Cassandra, Sarah, Angela, Tracy, and Christa; eight great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved grand-dog, Maggie.
Timothy was preceded in death by his wife of 31 years, Lou Verne (Church) McKnight; parents, James and Wilhelmina (Sinning) McKnight; and a sister and brother-in-law, Pat and Richard Reed.
