Walter Tuttle

Walter Tuttle, 91 of Florence Twp., passed away on February 8, 2016 at Metro Health in Cleveland. He was born on May 22, 1924 in Brecksville, and has lived in the Wakeman area for most of his life. He was a graduate of Wakeman High School. He farmed and was also a school bus driver for Firelands Schools. He served as the transportation supervisor for Sandusky Schools for many years. He was a member of the Collins United Methodist Church and the Farm Bureau. He enjoyed flying, and performed in barbershop quartets. He is survived by his wife of 69 years Luella (Coultrip), his children, Kathy (Michael) Littleton, of Wakeman, Diane (Steve) Kimpel, of Dayton, Jim (Anne) Tuttle, of Wakeman, Art (Elaine) Tuttle, of Medina, 11 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Perry and Katherine (Salasek) Tuttle, and a brother Albert Tuttle. Friends may call on Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 at the Morman-Hinman-Tanner Funeral Home, 38 South Street, Berlin Heights. Services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 at the Collins United Methodist Church on Hartland Center Road. Burial will follow at Wakeman Cemetery.
