Evelyn "Sue" Swinehart, 75, of Milan, OH passed away October 26, 2020. She was born May 3, 1945 in Medina, OH and went to Firelands High School. She went on to work as an Interior Designer for most of her life, even teaching the occasional class at Ehove Career Center over her 30-year career. Sue served on the Wakeman Village Council for several years. She loved to create crafts, using her decorating skills to create beautiful pieces to display in and around her home. Sue enjoyed gardening, and had natural talents. She loved to entertain, hosting meals and parties for her family and friends. She was an avid Cleveland Indian's fan, and she loved rock and roll.
Sue had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to laugh. She was outgoing, and she would tell you the way it was, whether you liked it or not, but always in good fun. She was opinionated, but gentle. Sue was an excellent cook, and her family says she made the best fried chicken!
Sue is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years, Gary Swinehart, her daughters, Debra Harrell, and Becky (Matt) Knittel, two granddaughters, five great-grandchildren, siblings, Dorothy Clark, Janey Yakunovich, Paul Woodrum, and Jim Woodrum.
