Glenn Damron, 73, of Clarksfield, OH passed away October 19, 2020, surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 5, 1947 in New London, OH to Johnny and Vannie (Kidd) Damron. Glenn graduated from New London High School and went on to work as a machinist for Nordson Incorporation and retired from there after 31 years. Glenn enlisted in the United States Army, where he served in Vietnam with pride. Glenn enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, and watching birds and his chickens. He loved his sons and grandchildren dearly, and had a special fondness for his sister, Ginny. Glenn was a cut-up and a joker. He was the best grandpa ever. He was kind, generous, and doted on his family.
Glenn is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Sandy (Thomas) Damron, sons, Shaun (Nikki) Damron, and Michael Damron, five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, brother, Bill Damron, sisters, Ginny (Harold) Case, Betty (Mike) Krumholz, Vannie Jean Damron, special friends, Jim, Rick, and Sherri, and his personal helpers, Pammy, Lacey, and Nikki.
Glenn was preceded in death by his brother, James, sisters, Cathy and Sue, and a nephew, Brad.
Per his personal request, there will be no memorial services.
