Jean Eleanor Hollingsworth (nee Jordan) 88, a life-long resident of Camden Township, passed away peacefully at her home on April 27, 2020. She was a 1950 graduate of Camden High School. She began working as a cook in 1971 at Camden Elementary then transferred to Firelands Elementary School becoming the head cook. She retired at the age of 80 in 2012. She was a lifelong member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Oberlin.
Jean is survived by her sons, Lynn (Mary) Hollingsworth of DeBary, Florida, Craig (Debi) Hollingsworth of Wakeman, and Chris Hollingsworth of Elyria; four grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and brother, Keith (Ladreine) Jordan, of Elyria.
Jean was proceeded in death by her husband of 68 years, LeRoy Hollingsworth; parents Kenneth and Winafred Jordan; and brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Eleanor Jordan.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 15th, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Camden Cemetary followed by an outdoor luncheon at her home 18368 Rowell Road, Wellington.
